Laura Nelson

I am very excited to be a member of the CCVC team, as it gives me the opportunity to do two things I love: work with animals, and clean!  I was born and raised in Beaver Dam, and was unsure of a career field that was the right fit for me until seven years ago, when I brought home a cute chocolate Lab puppy.  He has had numerous medical and behavioral issues, but I fell in love with him in spite of the problems, and knew that working with animals was the right choice for me.

Outside of work, I like spending time with friends and family, especially my nieces and nephew, watching movies, cooking, baking, volunteering at my church, and doing pretty much anything outdoors. 

I share my home with my three cats: Basil, Indy, and Gabe, and 2 chocolate labs named Mocha & Kahlua.
